Resources to support your psychology teaching

The Psychology Network's databases contain a wealth of materials that can support your psychology teaching and learning. These databases ceased to be updated from July 2011.

  • Our searchable resources database contains links to teaching material including software, websites and videos. You can also browse the database by APA PsycINFO classification.
  • Our teaching practice database has links to projects and papers about the teaching of psychology, classified by issue (e.g., assessment and feedback, employability) and subject area (e.g., clinical, cognitive).
  • Our bibliography database has information on articles, reports, books and other publications on psychology teaching, classified by issue and subject area, author, and year of publication.

Background
One of 24 discipline-based centres within the Higher Education Academy, the Psychology Network supported the teaching and learning of psychology across the UK between 2004 and 2011. A core team, based at the University of York, worked with students, staff, departments, professional bodies and overseas organisations to develop supportive networks and to improve the learning experience of psychology students in Higher Education.
