Creating and evaluating a web-based guide to choosing appropriate statistical tests in clinical psychology

This miniproject is now complete.

This project involves creating a web site on choosing appropriate statistical tests and evaluating its usefulness to clinical psychology trainees and qualified clinical psychologists. Clinical psychology is a rapidly expanding profession. Its trainees carry out research projects as part of their course, and qualified clinical psychologists are increasingly involved in service improvement work requiring quantitative data analysis. Trainees often find the statistical component of their courses daunting, and a common difficulty is in knowing which statistical test to use. A web-based teaching aid specifically geared to clinical psychology data could be a valuable adjunct to formal course teaching, and an aide-memoir for use thereafter and on qualification.

The WhichTest? Resource.. This website is currently being extended to include single case studies.
